New York State
Camera Bill
Assembly Bill A1967, sponsored by Assemblywoman Amy Paulin, would give nursing home residents and their families the right to install electronic monitoring devices in their rooms — bringing transparency, accountability, and peace of mind to senior care in New York.

The Essential Caregivers Act (119th Congress: U.S. House H.R. 6766 / U.S. Senate S.3492) is a bipartisan federal bill that would guarantee every nursing home resident the right to designate a family member or loved one as an essential caregiver — with in-person access at any time, even during emergencies when regular visitation is restricted.
During COVID-19, thousands of seniors across the country were cut off from the very people who provided them love, support, and advocacy. This legislation ensures that never happens again.

Every December, Voices for Seniors shows up for seniors in local nursing homes who have no family by their side during the holidays. Through Operation Christmas Senior, we deliver thoughtful gifts that send a simple but powerful message — you are not forgotten.
Help us be there for them this Christmas.

Every gift is carefully chosen to bring a smile to a senior who deserves to feel remembered. Your donation — no matter the size — goes directly toward making that happen.
The Anciano Project — anciano meaning "elder" in Spanish — is a year-round program of Voices for Seniors dedicated to providing basic comfort items to seniors living in local nursing homes. From February through October, we work with our nursing home partners to deliver the everyday essentials that bring dignity and comfort to residents who deserve to feel cared for every day of the year — not just during the holidays.

Powered entirely by community donations, the Anciano Project depends on the generosity of people who believe our elders deserve dignity every day of the year.
